The owner replaced this in the last 10 years. The amp is also In need of work- it is mint condition, turns on, and makes noise- pretty good noise (but it will need work/pro work if you want to use and abuse it for the next 50 years to come. Possibly sanding down the pickups, to have them sit lower so you can get the action lower. If you want to play this guitar and have it be "playable" it will need to be professionally set up. The guitar is not set up- and was never professionally set up. In our opinion it if hardly noticeable and adds a little character to the guitar- the guitar is quite stunning. It is clear by looking at the frets of this guitar: this guitar was never played in 50+ years !
